The Marketplace will offer six other eateries: Mercato Centrale (Italian), Al Comal (Mexican/South American), Pork & Waffles (BBQ and Southern comfort food), Sukiru (Pan-Asian), Prime Cuts (part steakhouse and part Brazilian Churrascaria) and Sweet Things (desserts). Pescato will be the first of seven eateries to open at The Marketplace, a concept designed to be like a high-end food hall with be freshly-prepared items at each stall. The Marketplace is in the former Potrero Canyon Buffet space and Pescato is at the entrance of the area, which will fully open in the coming weeks. Pescato, a seafood restaurant is the first part of the Marketplace to open and will start serving the public on Saturday, April 2. Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is one restaurant closer to completing the Marketplace by Fabio Viviani.
